I started making Rollup hats out of Cashmere sweaters in the early 90′s. I love the idea of recycling such a luxurious fiber. One problem… I was left with pieces too small to use in my rollup hats. I just could not force myself to throw the small pieces away.
With these hats, I finally figured out a way to use the smallest pieces.
Each hat is constructed out of many strips of pure, felted Cashmere. They are lined and sized. Very soft and warm. They fold easily for travel.
Most of these are one of a kind. Sometimes I can recreate a similar color combination in a different size.
